Thanksgiving 2011

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration this year. Matt's parents, Matt, John, and I went to Kingman and stayed at Wade and Steph's. They were great hosts, and we enjoyed delicious food, fun conversations, and beautiful weather. In addition to the Big Feast, the men joined up with some friends for an "Elimination" clay pigeon shooting game, the girls saw the latest Twilight movie and shopped, we put up Christmas decorations, watched sports games and movies, and overall enjoyed each other's company!

The Pie Ladies
I made my first pecan pie :)
John enjoying being part of the kid table. Even pretending to be skilled at using a fork.
(That didn't last long.)
Decorating for Christmas the next day.
With lots of breaks and entertainment!
Adorable Drew.
John was fascinated as Connor researched trucks on AutoTrader.
And fascinated while he played piano. John adores his cousins and is especially intrigued by all the big kid things they can do.

John was on-the-go the whole weekend.
Rolling, climbing, pushing strollers.
Running, reading, rearranging toys.
And, occasionally, just lounging.

We had a great time! It was so nice to be able to spend 4 full days together. I know I've said this before, but we just love having Wade and Steph so close by!
